Call 2-1-1 for Resources in Your Community

2-1-1 is a nationally recognizable number and telephone helpline that connects people in need to the services in their community offering help.  2-1-1 provides callers with information and referrals to social services for every day needs and in times of crisis. 2-1-1 helps connect people to these resources:

2-1-1 is available nationwide for most of our states and communities, however some counties and regions do not have an established 2-1-1 provider while some are currently underway. Search your zip code at the following link to be connected to your local 211 provider, http://www.211.org/

When you call 2-1-1, be sure to tell them that you are new in the community and needing to learn about programs and services that are available for your family and household. You can also tell them that you are a survivor of the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County, CA and that you have had to relocate due to the losses of the fire. This will help the 2-1-1 Resource Specialist understand your current situation better and they can better assist you with referrals to resources.

All calls to 2-1-1 are free and confidential. Service is available in more than 250 languages.

Help Central’s Butte-Glenn 2-1-1 is the main 2-1-1 provider dedicated to Camp Fire Relief and Recovery efforts. Help Central is a local non-profit organization in Butte County established to facilitate and improve public access to essential health and human services. We work with partner agencies to create a caring community that links individuals and families to the support services they need. By giving accurate information and connecting people to resources, we help strengthen families and our communities. We are here to help you find resources for your long term recovery from the Camp Fire.
