CAMPFIRE CONNECT PROGRAM INFORMATION

Campfire Connect is a collaboration between United Way of Northern California and American Red Cross to provide mental health and wellness services to survivors of the Camp Fire. This service is available for any Camp Fire survivor, regardless of where they currently live. United Way will pay the therapist directly for up to 8 sessions per person. Survivors must register to participate in this program by February 19th, 2021.

If you were directly impacted by the 2018 Camp Fire and would like counseling services, this is for you!

  1. First locate a mental health provider and ensure that they are accepting new patients.
  2. Tell the provider that United Way will contact them to set up billing.
  3. Complete this form to enroll in our program: http://norcalunited.co/camptherapy
  4. United Way will contact you to establish eligibility for the program.
    If you are a Camp Fire survivor already receiving counseling services, we can pay for those, too!

If you are a mental health provider and you are currently providing services to a Campfire survivor, or would like to begin scheduling services with an individual who has identified as a Campfire survivor, you can fill out this form: http://norcalunited.co/camptherapists

A United Way representative will contact you to set up billing.

You will also need to submit a W-9, a signed contract, and a contact information sheet.
